Job Overview
Inc42 Media is looking for a Social Media Lead who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and loves the challenge of discovering what makes consumers “click.”

As a Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for Growth, Management & Creation Innovation on Inc42’s social media handles and other brand pages

Our ideal candidate is a passionate, creative & experienced social media professional preferably from a modern media brand or a content-first tech startup.

What You'll Do

Social Media Videos:
  • Become a face for Inc42 videos on social media
  • Take end-to-end ownership of video marketing right from video briefing to scripting and storyboarding to shoot and post-production
  • Collaborate with internal and external video editors to timely publish videos across different social media platforms

Social Media Management
  • Build, nurture, and grow various social media communities in terms of followers and members
  • Manage the company’s social media groups, pages, and handles independently
  • Create and market trend-based social media activities
  • Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives on social media activities
  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions
  • Explore ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
  • Identify and advise the Promotion team on the most appropriate content formats for each platform and audience
  • Work alongside other members of the Marketing team to distribute content that educates, entertains, and engages our target audiences and supports overall marketing goals
    Weekly/Monthly reporting of performance on respective social media handles
Campaign Management
  • Execute the social media campaigns planned monthly
  • Ensure achievement of planned results from the campaigns
  • Work with the team to plan social media calendar
  • Weekly/monthly reporting of the respective campaign performance on social media

What We Require
  • 3+ years of experience in social media marketing
  • Preferably from modern digital media, content-first digital companies, or d2c company
  • Has a strong understanding of content/content marketing and is fluent in communications
  • Should have prior experience in minimum 2 of the following - Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook
  • Must have significant demonstrated growth on social media platforms earlier
  • Should have experience with social media tools like Hootsuite, Facebook Business Manager, CoSchedule, Later etc
  • Good To Haves: Has been a face on social media for a while and has a dynamic personality and is camera-friendly
